Granite

Granite is one of natures many beauties. It is one the most popular materials used in kitchens today. Granite is a natural stone which makes every slab unique no two are identical. This material is also very durable, it has high heat resistance, and very easy to care for.

Porcelain

Porcelain is a man made material for countertops made from clay that has kaolinite. The clay is formed into slabs and fired at high temperatures. Porcelain is 30% stronger that granite, takes high temperatures, and is very durable.

Quartz

Quartz is an engineered stone that is 93% ground quartz and 7% resins, polymers, and colors. This material is considered nonporous. Quartz is considered to be scratch and chip resistant, but does not take heat as well as granite.

marble

Marble is a natural stone that has been used throughout the ages. Marble is also one of the softest countertop materials and scratches/etches easily. Marble is also highly porous. The most used styles of marble are Carrara and Calacatta.

Quartizte

Quartzite is natural stone just like granite but the patterns usually look more like marble. Just like granite there are no two identical slabs of quartzite because it is a natural stone. Quartzite is considered to be less porous that granite.
